This piece was my first successful attempt at drawing a horse like creature and required that I reference horse anatomy.  By looking at the skeletal structure of horses and humans I was able to find proportions which worked well with each other.

This piece was heavily inspired by a TV series called “Clash of the Gods” which compared real life events to mythologies of the ancient world.  I decided to take this traditional mythology and place into a more modern setting.
