This image was a joint collaboration with the website http://pinupsforcancer.blogspot.ca/ and was create to help raise funds for cancer research.  This image will soon be available for purchase so we encourage you to keep an eye out for important updates.

In order for this collaboration to take place I met up with Jason @ pinupsforcancer to discuss how we were going to go about making this piece.  At the meeting we discussed what would be done by who and came to the conclusion that Jason would work on the main character design while I concentrated on the painting of the image.

Through some back and forth work we both came up with the finalized drawing that you see here.

This image is part of the  "The Sketchapd section of this site and feature images that were produced via my sketchbook.  These images did undergo some minor digital changes but 90% of the work was done using traditional mediums.

Simply select the "The Sketchpad" side menu option to view similar sketches.

This drawing was created using a variety of traditional and digital mediums.  The basic structure of the piece was drawn out with pencil while the shading and final details were added using markers and pens.  Once the piece was scanned into the computer, I then added some additional textures and shading to finish off the piece.
