In this tutorial I had the intriguing challenge to create a character which was walking into the depths of hell while reading a newspaper.  To show both elements I had to choose a scenery that made sense and created a spiraling staircase from which the character could travel to the depths of the earth.

Isis Goddess with Wings

This image was heavily inspired by the both ballet dancers as well as the mythical Egyptian Goddess Isis.  Although this piece only took around 5 hours to complete it was a very interesting piece to work on and I learned a great deal.
