- Open existing Project
- A project file remains editable
- Models in the File list panel will remain intact
- Open
- Open models or import existing project (OBJ, STL ect…)
- Recently Opened
- list of most recently opened files (OBJ, STL ect…)
- clicking on the folder will open the folder location + select the file
- Save Project
- Save current Project
- Files will remain editable
- Supports will be saved automatically
- Save all as
- Save the project file or export all 3d models (OBJ, STL ect…)
- Merge Export
- Models must be selected
- Export all selected files as a single file (OBJ, STL ect…)
- Section Export
- Files must be selected
- Export all models as individual files
- PRO TIP: Make sure to create a dedicated folder, so the files are easier locate.
- Add machine
- Add a 3D printer and it’s configurations
Prepare
- Copy
- Model must be selected.
- Create duplicates of a model within the project
- Split Model
- Split a model into its separate components
- This doesn’t work with Boolean objects that are connected
- Auto Orientation
- Orients the model to reduce the number of supports
- Manually orientation is recommended when dealing with objects that have high esthetic requirements
- Add Tag
- Add text and numbering to a curved or flat surface of a model
- Text size, font and placement can be adjusted
- Text can be generated to cut into an object or extrude outwards
- Boolean Operations
- Combine or subtract two objects
- Cut
- Model must be selected
- Cut the model into separate pieces
- If the mode is too large for the build plate, this tool can be used to split in into smaller pieces that will fit onto the build plate
- Hollow
- Hollow a model to reduce the amount of material that’s used in the printing process
- Infill can be generated
- Drainage holes will be required
Repair
- Repair Panel
- Display errors in the model
- Close small holes
- Close small holes that have less or equal 6 edges
- Close all holes
- Close all holes with the model
- Orientation repair
- Fix the face orientation of the model
- Coat outer surface
- Apply a variety of fixes to the model
- Re-mesh the model
- Add Triangle
- Inclusive results
- Remove Redundant shells
- Clean up overlapping geometry
- Delete triangle
- Inclusive results
- Reverse triangle
- Inclusive results
Support
- Symmetrical Support
- The symmetrical plane must first be established
- Create identical supports to a symmetrical object
- Tree Support
- Combine Existing supports into tree support structures
- Suspend Detection
- Accuracy of areas that need support on the model
- Default setting is Medium
- Left Side toolbar
- Make sure Add Supports is enabled (press “A”)
- Select one of the tools to create a selection
- Press “+All” to generate support in that area
- Support Type
- Choose from an array of predefined support types
- Support Popup Panel
- Interactively change support settings
- Changes preview in the panel automatically
- Advanced
- Spacing from model = prevents supports from being generated too close to the model
Analyze/Measure
- Collision detection
- Detect and separate overlapping models
- Display size
- Creates a box around the model with the dimensions of the model
- Two point distance
- Left-click two points on the model to get the distance
- Better for non-flat surfaces
- Point to plane distance
- Left-Click a point and a flat plane to get the distance
- 1st point should be a non-flat surface for more accurate results
- 2nd point should be a planar surface
- Parallel plane distance
- Both planes must be parallel
- Only used to measure to parallel planes

- Import / Export profiles
- Batch export profiles
- Exports all the profiles within the profiles panel as well as the manufacturer’s one’s
- Reset current profile
- Return to original profile settings

- Assign colors to individual models
- Each selection will have an individual color
- Used to locate overlapping sections of models
- Select all models
- Select all models in the workspace
- Reverse selection
- At least one model must first be selected
- Display size
- Creates a box around the model with the dimensions of the model
Left Tool Bar
- Select
- A double click is required to apply the selection
- Line
- Curve
- Square
- Polygon
- Free-form
- Follows the mouse movement
- Move
- By default, the movements will follow the build plate
- Left-clicking on the axis arrows allows for movements not restricted by the build plate
- Rotate
- “Flatten by face” the selected face causes the object to rotate so that the face can face the build platform
- “Combination Center” changes the tool pivot to the center of all objects which have been selected
- Scale
- “Lock ration” will scale all axis proportionally to each other
- “Supports diameter unchanged” the model will scale up, but the support’s diameter will remain the same
- Mirror
